Claybury - International AND local
20th September 2007
An event for local Christian leaders has helped us to forge new links with churches on our doorstep.
Twelve Christian leaders from the Letchworth area attended a seminar on "Managing Ministry Stress" at Claybury's offices on Tuesday 18th September.
Event organiser Janet Waddell said, 'We have been in Letchworth for over 18 months now, and we realised we were working all over the world while there might be Christian leaders on our doorstep who didn't know we existed'.
Operations Director Lorna Buckland added, 'The event was a great success and was greatly appreciated by those who attended. Although we do a lot of work overseas, we remain committed to strengthening the UK church as well, and we hope this event will be the start of some excellent ongoing links with local churches.'
