The staff of Claybury International has been engaged in the encouragement of a network of counselling and therapeutic resources in the UK and overseas over the last twenty years. Principally we believe that counselling is a therapeutic process for healing and emotional stability but also a means of personal support and growth and can be seen as a professional motif for those wanting to stay healthy in work, ministry and mission.

Specialist Area
Our Counsellors are professionally trained but also have an in-depth awareness of the needs of Christians in leadership, ministry and mission. We have discovered how important this is for those who really appreciate having there life experience understood at the outset of counselling.

Networking
From the outset Claybury has engaged in networking and has championed this cause in the UK with the result that Claybury has a wide range of relationships with counsellors and therapists in the UK and abroad.

Establishing Counselling Contracts
Counselling contracts can be established in a number of ways, and typically are set up:

• by individuals making personal inquiries to our contact number or e-mail,
• by organizations making professional referrals of staff members
• through referrals from other professional counselling organizations from the UK and abroad.

(Claybury International works within the professional boundaries of confidentiality, so that feedback to employers or the organizations that the clients are connected to is only given if requested by the client or if requested by the organization with the agreement of the client when initially establishing the counselling contract.)
